Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and packages to various destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight
Inspect vehicles before and after trips for mechanical issues or safety concerns
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports
Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Assist with warehouse operations by organizing freight, preparing shipments, and ensuring proper storage of goods
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Knowledge of freight handling procedures
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move freight regularly; ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
Excellent time management skills for getting deliveries assembled and out to customers
