Ken’s Roofing Supplies is a local roofing and building supply company serving contractors, homeowners, and construction professionals throughout Greater Victoria. We are looking for a reliable, positive, and customer-focused person to join our growing team at our Langford branch.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning about building products, and being part of a busy, hands-on team workplace.

Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative, your duties will include:
Assisting walk-in and phone-in customers at the front counter
Helping customers find the right roofing and building products for their needs
Processing customer orders and delivery orders for our truck fleet
Coordinating with warehouse, delivery, and sales staff to keep orders moving smoothly
Assisting with inventory control, including stocking shelves and reporting low-stock items
Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front-counter and showroom area
Learning additional tasks over time to support other areas of the company as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
A positive attitude and willingness to learn




Valuable attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn order-entry systems
Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
The ability to work well with customers, coworkers, and delivery staff
Construction, roofing, building supply, or warehouse experience is an asset, but not required
