Timbro Contracting Ltd. is seeking a full time, skilled, and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators on mainline pipeline installation or civil construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient excavation while maintaining high-quality standards.

Shift: Night Shift ( 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Sunday-Friday )

Responsibilities:
Operate excavators for mainline trenching, ditching, and backfilling
Follow grade stakes and project specifications accurately
Perform fine grading and detail work in tight spaces
Safely expose and work around live utilities (gas, hydro, water, sewer, telecom)
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Communicate effectively with ground crew and spotters
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and site regulations
Maintain productivity while minimizing environmental impact

Requirements:





· Must be a professional equipment operator and have experience operating an excavator and finish operator, pipeline, sanitary is preferred but not necessary.

· 5-year construction experience is required.

· Robust knowledge of trenching, grading, and safe excavation practices

· Experience in civil construction is preferred.

· Tickets will be required upon hiring.

· Team player with strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.

· Positive attitude and inclination to want to help wherever possible.

· Flexibility to work in various job locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
