Key Responsibilities
Provide professional dispensing of eyewear, lenses, and contact lenses<
Perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings
Ensure compliance with BC opticianry standards and regulations
Manage daily store operations, scheduling, and workflow
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
Drive sales performance and meet store targets
Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
Handle patient concerns with professionalism and care
Qualifications
Licensed Optician in good standing in British Columbia (required)
Previous management or supervisory experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical products
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail
Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
What do you need?
Ability to lead a team to deliver excellent patient service
Great organizational and time management skills
Motivational skills that will energise your team and drive success
Financial understanding of sales, targets and budgets
PC skills to use iOS and microsoft platforms
Be an enthusiastic learner and teacher
