Oversee navigational watch and safety equipment upkeep
Inspect lifesaving and firefighting gear bi-weekly
Maintain bridge equipment and navigational instruments
Ensure passenger safety during embarkation and disembarkation
Direct crew tasks and monitor operational compliance Requirements:
Canadian Watch keeping Mate Certificate required
STCW Basic Safety and Advanced Fire Fighting certifications
Seafarers Medical and Radio Operator Certificate
Experience in vessel operations and safety procedures
