Acumen Logistics Ltd. is a growing transportation and warehousing company based in Delta, BC. We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Class 1 Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both tractor-trailers (semi-trucks) and 5-ton trucks for local and regional deliveries, depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailers and 5-ton trucks.
Pick up and deliver freight efficiently while meeting scheduled delivery times.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects.
Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and transported safely.
Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation accurately.
Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding deliveries and route updates.
Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicles.




Comply with all company policies and applicable provincial and federal transportation regulations.
Deliver excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
Clean driver's abstract.
Experience operating both semi-trucks and 5-ton trucks is preferred.
Robust knowledge of the Lower Mainland road network.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
