Edelweiss is looking to hire a receiver/swamper immediately. This is a part time permanent position

Hours will be Tuesday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:30

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the following tasks:
Process Shipments: Receive, unload, and unpack incoming shipments of materials, products, or equipment.
Verify Inventory: Cross-reference incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Quality Control: Inspect all incoming goods for visible damage or defects, and promptly report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all received goods and update the inventory management system [or enter data into specific software, e.g., SAP, Excel].
Organization: Route received goods to their appropriate storage areas or departments using pallet jacks or dollies
Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload trucks, trailers, or delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
Safety Compliance:



Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA/OH&S; regulations, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Work is performed in both indoor stocking settings and outdoor loading dock environments, subject to varying weather conditions.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including safely lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Attention to Detail: Robust organizational skills with the ability to accurately read and verify shipping documents.
Communication: Explicit verbal communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team.

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
