Commercial glass and aluminum contractor serving Calgary and projects throughout Alberta is seeking a Journeyman Glazier to complete commercial projects. This role is responsible for working with or leading installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a protected and efficient jobsite.
Responsibilities
Install curtain wall, storefront, aluminum doors & hardware, and glazing systems
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Review drawings and installation instructions to ensure accuracy
Monitor progress and report updates to Foreman/ Supervisor
Maintain jobsite organization and material usage
Enforce safety protocols and skilled conduct on site
Assist in training and mentoring team members
Qualifications
Hands-on experience in commercial glazing installation or similar construction trades
Proven ability to work with a team and maintain productivity
Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, aluminum door systems, & other interior and exterior glazing systems
Strong communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
