With a two-year social service diploma and experience working with Anishinabe communities, you will effectively implement programs and guidelines that align with the Child, Youth, and Family Services Act, enhancing the well-being of those in your care. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate behavioral programming for children and youth
Ensure a safe and secure workplace for clients
Provide life skills coaching and emotional support
Encourage resilience and effective emotional regulation
Conduct crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Requirements:
Diploma in Child and Youth Worker or social services
Relevant experience with Anishinabek communities preferred
First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to acquire
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
Insurance for client transport purposes
Utilize your excellent communication and organizational skills to support youth effectively at Kingsway Home.
