We are looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a rapid-paced environment, thrives as part of a team, and is committed to preparing high-quality food while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces and other menu items.
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies before service.
Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure productive service and smooth daily operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout each shift.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels.
Properly label, rotate, and store food using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory.
Perform opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned.





Qualifications
Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Robust teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to support coworkers during busy service periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment for long periods.
Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and working effectively as part of a team.
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
