Taverna Gorgona is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our professional kitchen team.
We are an established Greek restaurant that has proudly served the Ladner community for more than 30 years. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking and motivated individual who takes pride in preparing high-quality food and thrives in a rapid-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Set up and maintain an organized workstation
Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently
Assist with food prep and daily kitchen duties
Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Work efficiently during busy service while supporting the kitchen team
Help with inventory rotation and minimizing food waste
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a busy restaurant
Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is an asset
Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Reliable, punctual and organized
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Food Safe certification is an asset
