Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant in the Pharmacy sector in Calgary, Alberta.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy pharmacy setting while working alongside an experienced healthcare team.

$20.00 hourly

Contract position through August 24, with the possibility of extension based on business needs
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Location: NE, Calgary
Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare workplace

A day in the life:
Review patient prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
Enter, prepare, and process prescriptions efficiently and accurately
Process third-party insurance claims and resolve claim-related issues
Support pharmacists with daily dispensing and administrative activities
Order, receive, and maintain pharmacy inventory levels
Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment activities




Collect and process prescription payments from customers
Maintain accurate records while adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures

Successful candidates will have:
Minimum 3 months of Pharmacy Assistant experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions
Experience processing prescriptions in a pharmacy setting
Knowledge of third-party insurance claim processing
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with HealthWatch pharmacy software is considered an asset
Strong organizational skills and commitment to patient confidentiality
