We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and qualified Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, create a welcoming dining experience, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS are considered an asset but are not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash and debit/credit transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas
Assist with light food preparation and support kitchen operations when needed
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Manage multiple tables effectively during busy service hours
Follow all food safety and health regulations
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
Previous serving or restaurant experience is an asset
Robust communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills
Smart Serve certification is an asset
