Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently and safely
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy
Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station area, including merchandising displays and retail shelves
Handle cashing out customers, balancing cash registers, and performing basic math calculations for transactions
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
Follow safety protocols for fuel handling and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Skills
Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base effectively
Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales settings, especially involving product demos or upselling techniques
Strong communication skills with phone etiquette for engaging customers over the phone or in person
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math operations for accurate transactions
Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly
Knowledge of merchandising practices to optimize product displays and store layout
