Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping setting. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
Provide product demos and explain features to customers interested in technology or other merchandise
Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and restocking shelves as needed
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly,



and ensure a positive shopping experience
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
Practice excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online channels
Keep the checkout area organized and clean, adhering to organizational standards

Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Robust communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus for serving diverse customers
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with POS systems and basic merchandising concepts is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain organization during high-volume periods
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers through friendly communication and product knowledge
Experience with upselling techniques and product demonstrations will be beneficial for success in this role
