Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Culinary skilled to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess a passion for creating delicious meals in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will be required to be guest facing and "on stage" from private group cooking and public classes. Our Culinary Assistants guide our private cooking events and help create a fun and memorable dinner experience for all of our guests!
Duties
set up mise-en-place for group cooking or public classes
assist guests with cooking and preparation of meal i.e guided knife skills, sauteing, baking etc.
Handle food preparation and assist with meal preparation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Support kitchen staff in daily culinary tasks
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality dishes and menu development
Experience
Able to assist guests with knife skills, cooking tips and tricks
Friendly and outgoing and able to lead a cooking class or demonstration
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting
Robust attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence
