SACL is seeking Community Support Workers who want to make a difference!

Duties include:

· Providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and assisting in their developmental growth and success.

· Assisting with personal care, including personal hygiene and self-care.

· Developing and participating in community activities and opportunities to enhance inclusion and acceptance in areas of recreation, leisure activities and employment.

· Ensuring a safe workplace for everyone.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain the following requirements prior to employment:
BC Criminal Record Check (CRC)
First Aid/C.P.R
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Driver's Abstract




Use of a personal vehicle with $3,000,000 liability and business insurance
Doctor's certificate of ability to perform all necessary physical duties
Negative T.B. declaration or test results

Permanent positions of 20 hours or more qualify for health advantages after 3 months.

This position is open to all applicants "except where bona fide occupational requirements prevent it" (article 24.2) and the position requires union membership.

Pay: $28.46-$31.57 per hour
