We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Duties
Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth to determine repair or replacement needs
Perform wheel balancing and alignment services as needed
Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance recommendations, and related services
Conduct routine maintenance on tire equipment and ensure all tools are properly maintained and stored
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Manage sales of tires and related automotive products, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Assist with vehicle inspections and other automotive repair tasks as required
Experience
Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized tire equipment
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) regularly during tire installation and removal
Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of sales techniques related to automotive products is a plus
