Duties
Operate excavators with precision to dig trenches, foundations, and other site features according to project specifications
Assist with the operation of related heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers to support construction activities
Conduct routine inspections of excavators and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Coordinate with team members to execute site preparation, grading, and material movement tasks efficiently
Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations and report any equipment issues or hazards immediately
Support additional construction tasks including horizontal drilling, paving, and site leveling as needed
Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, equipment usage,



and maintenance activities

Requirements
Must have GPS experience !
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment; familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance on machinery
Ability to operate related equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers effectively
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating heavy vehicles in office or between locations
Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation
Strong understanding of construction processes including earthmoving, grading, paving, and horizontal drilling techniques
Prior experience working with heavy machinery brands like Caterpillar is a plus
