Quick food experience is not sufficient, must have full meal cooking experience.
Shifts are 6:30am to 2:00pm and/or 11am to 7pm (Subject to change)
Must be available to start immediately and work all shifts
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE COOKING in a retirement home setting
The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include but are not limited to:
Setting up, Sanitizing, cleaning, and organizing work stations
Preparing ingredients for the shift and/or the following shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc, and following food health and safety procedures.
Home Style Cooking is expected
Storing all food properly, monitoring and recording food temps, fridge temps etc.
Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed

Thorold, ON L2V 1Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
