You will work with people who care passionately about you, our clients, our company, and our higher social purpose.Role OverviewReporting to the VP, Digital & Advisor Technology, the AVP, Advisor Technology Platforms works collaboratively with key stakeholders and leads their teams to design and leverage next‐generation advisor technology solutions (e.G., Salesforce). This role is a critical guide in the 'plan‐build‐run' functions of the Technology operating model and future solution offerings, advancing the implementation and support of innovative products and applications that engage clients through assisted channels.How You Will Create ImpactProactively identifying strategies and initiatives that will enhance service, reduce costs, and resolve potential blockers, and leading efforts to identify technical opportunities to improve processes, delivery, and usability.Supporting the development of the RSS technology roadmap from strategy through to delivery and ongoing maintenance of various technologies (e.G., Salesforce), including leveraging AI to advance development productivity and business outcomes.Leading an effective RSS Technology organization that incorporates best practices for delivering timely and cost‐effective solutions to our clients, overseeing operations for the responsible platforms.Leveraging deep knowledge for technology project delivery,



overseeing a portfolio of projects and programs, and ensuring the effective delivery of technical solutions to meet business strategic, tactical needs and project delivery metrics.Ensuring sufficient vendor research and vetting processes so that software solution purchases or partnerships meet the needs of the business unit and align with internal technology standards.Motivationally empowering across teams with an internal development excellence mindset for application upgrades and new application development to ensure quality solutions meet the needs of the business partner.Collaborating with Retail Sales & Service, Omni‐channel and other stakeholders to define business plans and develop advanced technology solutions that support growth objectives.Managing and maintaining strategic relationships with vendors and key external partners to support exceptional development and delivery of products and services, including managing vendor relationships, negotiations, contract management, and establishing suitable SLAs and controls.Managing the financial and business performance of the organization, including setting appropriate department‐wide goals, KPIs and associated targets.Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching, mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, cooperative, and agile culture.How You Will SucceedYou integrate complex information to identify solutions or solve problems and apply a strategic mindset to adjust business plans.You foster innovation and continuous improvement with a focus on client experience.You create a high‐performance culture through alignment of your team's work with organizational goals and successfully convey messages with a sense of positive advocacy.You develop others to ensure the evolving needs of the organization will be met and build effective relationships to achieve key business objectives.To Join Our TeamYou have 10 years of progressive related experience,



including multiple years of expertise across the plan‐build‐run technology spectrum.You have a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another field of study with relevant experience.You have in‐depth experience in client‐facing large‐package software technology solutions. Experience with Salesforce is an asset, including leading AI adoption and innovation, particularly with Salesforce AgentForce.You have experience leading the planning and successful execution of complex technology projects and/or initiatives.You have demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor relationship management, participating in vendor contract negotiations, and partnering with stakeholders to review services provided.You have the financial acumen to interpret and make decisions impacting projects and technology operations.You have applied experience in financial service and/or insurance.
