General Labourer (Seasonal)

Nova Staffing is searching for General Labourers for our client in the Centreville area. These seasonal positions will support operations within a busy blueberry packing facility from approximately July through October.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary based on production requirements)

The successful candidates will assist with preparing finished products for shipment and supporting various production and sanitation activities within a rapid-paced food processing environment. This is an excellent chance for individuals who enjoy physical work, thrive in a team setting, and are looking for seasonal employment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with pre-cooling, grading, packing, and palletizing blueberries
Prepare finished products for shipment
Wash trays, assemble boxes, and perform general production duties
Follow all company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility




Perform periodic cleanup duties during shifts
Support quality and food safety requirements
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma considered an asset
Previous production, warehouse, or general labour experience considered an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Flexible and willing to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
