Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Livestock Labourer to join our farm team. This role involves hands-on work caring for and managing livestock, ensuring their health and well-being, and assisting with farm operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a productive agricultural environment. Experience with farm machinery and mechanical knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided for specific tasks. This position offers an prospect to work in a dynamic rural setting with a focus on animal care and farm maintenance. Applicants with Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residence are preferred.

Duties
Assist in feeding, watering, and caring for poultry livestock
Maintain clean and protected living environments for animals
Operate farm machinery including tractors, feed mixers, and other equipment as needed
Perform heavy lifting tasks related to feed bags, equipment parts,



or livestock supplies
Monitor animal health and report any concerns to farm management
Maintain cleanliness of barns, pens, and surrounding farm areas
Support general farm maintenance tasks including repairs and equipment checks

Skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience or familiarity with farm machinery is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Physical stamina and strength to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Attention to detail in animal care and safety procedures
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rural farm workplace

Pay: $19.00 per hour
