The primary role of the Warehouse Associate includes the receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Local travel is also required. This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that they have a valid driver's license upon being hired.

Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments
Update inventory software system
Verify and inspect items received against purchase orders or invoices
Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
Pick and package orders for shipment to customers
Operate warehouse equipment to move and stack materials
Travel to local suppliers for product pick up
Communicate with suppliers and/or customers over the telephone as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in inventory control and cycle counting
Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar role preferred
Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely




Ability to pick and package orders accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with shipping systems is a plus
Proficient in order picking and order fulfillment processes
Valid forklift certification is a bonus but not required
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of car parts an asset but not required

Job Hours:
FOR FIRST THREE MONTHS (30 Hours)
Monday - Thursday
9:00 am - 5:00 pm

AFTER FIRST THREE MONTHS (40 Hours)
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
