Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Leasing Agent to join our leasing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing activities, engaging with prospective tenants, and ensuring a smooth rental process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial services and basic math principles. The Leasing Agent will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and fostering positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities
Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available properties
Conduct property tours and answer questions regarding leasing terms, amenities, and policies
Process rental applications, verify references, and coordinate background checks
Prepare lease agreements and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
Collect security deposits and rental payments in accordance with company policies




Maintain up-to-date records of leasing activities and tenant interactions
Collaborate with property management to develop marketing strategies for vacant units
Assist in resolving tenant concerns promptly to promote satisfaction and retention

Experience
Math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, and financial transactions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with prospective tenants
Familiarity with leasing software or property management systems is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace
