Job Summary

The Gardens Event Centre is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with guests, promoting our event services, and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a energetic environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in representing the Gardens Event Centre and supporting our mission to host exceptional events.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide information about available event packages and services
Assist clients in planning and booking events, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Provide guest services, including answering questions and resolving concerns promptly
Support food service operations during events, including serving guests and maintaining cleanliness
Engage with children during family or children's events, creating a welcoming atmosphere




Promote upcoming events and special offers to increase bookings and attendance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area and event spaces as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations from start to finish

Requirements
Prior experience in customer service, guest services, or food service is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills, including public speaking abilities
Experience working with children is a plus
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed for events
Previous experience in hospitality or event sales is advantageous but not mandatory
Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the Gardens Event Centre effectively

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
