We are seeking a skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welder & Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves precise welding, polishing, and fabrication of stainless steel components, primarily utilizing TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with experience in various manufacturing environments. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Polish welded parts to meet quality standards using appropriate hand and power tools
Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
Assist with assembly and installation of fabricated parts in accordance with project specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints,
and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
Skills
Proficiency in TIG welding of stainless steel
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and fabrication processes
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and other fabrication equipment
Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements
Familiarity with machining techniques and assembly processes in a manufacturing setting
Strong understanding of welding standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced workplace
