We are currently seeking applications for a Construction Labourer to help in the installation of Lightning Protection Systems.

The work includes:
Installing lightning cable, rods, connectors, anchors and fasteners on flat and sloped roofs
Pulling / Installing riser cable in conduit / on walls from the roof system to the grounding system.
Installing ground rods/plates/cable below grade in the ground.

The way we work includes:
Crews (Foreman and 1 - 2 installers) assemble in our shop in Dundas Ontario each morning and drive in company vans to their jobsites on a daily basis.
For more distant jobsites, crews will stay out of town over night. Meal allowance and accommodation is provided.
Work days are Monday to Friday

Skills/experience we need you to have includes:
Valid driver’s license, clean driver's abstract and your own way of getting to/from our Dundas facility.
Experience and ability in working with hand/power tools including electric drills/drivers.




Work experience of 2 years preferred, preferably in roofing / landscaping or general construction.
Ministry of Labour (Ont.) “Worker Health and Safety Awareness” training an asset.
First Aid and CPR training would be an asset.
High school diploma preferred
Valuable communication skills

Training we provide on the job includes:
Trade training in Lightning Protection Systems to code standards (CSA, NFPA)
Working from lifts/elevated platforms
Job and project specific safety training

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
