Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance while ensuring a positive service experience. This role requires robust communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively. The ideal candidate will have dealership or mechanic experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment.
Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customer understanding.
Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines effectively.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently.
Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and customer interests.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation.




Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions.
Promote dealership services, specials, and warranty programs to maximize sales prospects.

Experience
Prior dealership experience or mechanic background is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
Proven experience in customer service within an automotive setting.
Ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and trust with customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with cash handling and basic administrative tasks is advantageous.
Knowledge of automotive repair processes enhances effectiveness in this role.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
