ABOUT US

The Best Western Premier Chateau Granville is a full service 118-room hotel located at 1100 Granville Street in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We offer a personalized alternative to the larger chain hotels, with a focus on consistent service and direct relationships with our guests and corporate partners.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business and managing a portfolio of accounts across the corporate transient, group, and banquet segments. This is a hands-on, proactive role suited to someone who builds real relationships and wants to grow into a broader sales career.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the annual sales plan across assigned accounts and segments
Proactively solicit current business through sales calls, prospecting, site inspections, and industry events, including out-of-town travel
Manage an assigned portfolio of corporate accounts and travel trade partners
Achieve individual activity and revenue targets contributing to overall occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR goals of an already high-occupancy successful downtown hotel




Prepare proposals and negotiate room rates and packages within approved parameters
Support market analysis and competitor rate shopping to identify trends and opportunities
Attend Destination Vancouver functions, Best Western events, and industry networking as required

QUALIFICATIONS
1–2 years of sales experience in hotels or hospitality
Comfortable working to activity and revenue targets
Familiarity with PMS/CRM systems an asset; training provided on Best Western systems
Familiarity with the Vancouver corporate and group market strongly preferred; existing relationships are a significant asset
Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills; self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
