RESPONSABILITIE
In the role of Estimator, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by analyzing and qualifying requests, and preparing accurate project cost estimates. More precisely, you will have to :
Analyze projects as a whole to properly plan steps and costs;
Interpret accurately technical specifications in tender documents;
Participate in sourcing suppliers and subcontractors and in managing tender requests;
Communicate with project stakeholders and build business relationships with suppliers, qualified firms, and subcontractors;
Estimate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, tools, and subcontracting using the management software;
Prepare and submit final proposals to clients;
Coordinate project bid closures with the responsible parties;
Collaborate with the team for project start-up (project manager, foreman, etc.);
Contribute to updating databases (technical data, references, suppliers);
Assist in the integration and maintenance of the estimating software;
Participate in meetings to establish estimating strategies;
Perform any other related duties as assigned.





REQUIREMENTS
Hold a college diploma in Estimating, Electrical Studies, or any other equivalent training;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Relevant experience in the electrical field;
Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our partners outside of Quebec;
Available to travel to job sites as needed;
Knowledge of standard computer programs;
Familiar with Maestro software (an asset);
Knowledge of construction laws, rules, and regulations in Québec (building electricity), as well as the Canadian Electrical Code;
Display excellent customer-focused approach.

Works collaboratively and effectively within a team workplace;
Convey commitment to delivering high-quality work.
