Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the overall operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety and cleanliness, with experience or interest in the food industry.

Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met.
Assist with meal preparation and food handling as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to promote a hygienic environment.
Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen supplies efficiently.
Support food service operations by helping with basic food prep tasks when required.
Follow all safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain a tidy workspace.

Requirements




Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as washing dishes.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and familiarity with cooking or meal preparation is advantageous.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required.

Pay: $17.20-$17.80 per hour
