About the Role

As a Utility Locator, you will work independently in the field, ensuring protected and accurate locating of underground utilities. You will use our ticket management system to document mark-outs for excavators and property owners.

Key Responsibilities:
Locate underground utilities safely and accurately: telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer, and cable systems
Thoroughly search dig areas, mark utility locations, document findings, and photograph each ticket
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and use a company laptop for ticket management
Follow all safety procedures and site requirements

Requirements




Optional but valuable:ORCGA DPT Certification
Optional but valuable: Book 7 Training, Health & Safety Training
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, work in confined spaces, and be outdoors in all weather
Computer proficiency and ability to manage tickets digitally
Valid driver’s license with a protected driving record
Ability to pass a drug screening
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Compensation: Piece-work / pay-per-ticket

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour
