Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter/Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in carpentry, with expertise in various construction techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on mainly residential builds and renovations.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, plans and drawings
Framing and sheeting wooden floors, walls and roofs
Installing vinyl siding and trims, windows, doors
Bending and installing metal fascia
Repairing or replacing damaged components in existing structures
Flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and leveling
Ensure all work completed with precision, attention to detail and adhering to building codes
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
Engage in heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials throughout the job site.
Able to work unsupervised or with another employee
Maintain a clean and safe work setting

Qualifications:
Carpenter/Apprentice




Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of building codes, blueprints and safety regulations.
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of construction practices.
Experience with framing, siding, flooring installation, deck construction and renovation techniques.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftmanship.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
First Aid/CPR certification (an asset)
Reliable transportation
