Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to lead our construction projects and ensure that they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of earthwork construction processes. You will be responsible for supervising teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of earthwork construction crews to ensure project goals are met.
Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with other team members
GPS (global positioning system) use
Reading civil drawings

Requirements
Proven experience as a Foreman and civil experience
Robust knowledge of quality control processes and standards in construction.




Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Understands civil drawings and is familiar with civil contracts
Valid Class 5 drivers license and ability to get to work on time
GPS operation knowledge
People skills

Assets
Clean driving record to drive company vehicles
Experience operating and working around equipment such as excavators, graders, gravel trucks etc.
Underground utility installation, snow clearing, demolition experience
First Aid safety ticket
Ground Disturbance ticket

Job Types: Full time, Seasonal

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
