We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers to provide high-quality care to senior residents in need of assistance with daily activities. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia support. Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable setting
Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members
Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care or working with residents with disabilities
Follow care plans meticulously and document care provided in compliance with regulations
Qualifications
Prior experience in senior personal care homes is highly desirable
Knowledge of senior care, dementia support, medication administration, and caregiving best practices
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents with mobility needs
Certifications in Personal Care Worker course, Food Safety, First Aid & CPR are mandatory.
Must be reliable, patient, empathetic, and committed to providing respectful care
