Bosley’s by Pet Valu is a trusted pet specialty retailer focused on robust service and reliable pet care support. We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Bosley’s Esplanade location.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily store operations, sales, service, and staff supervision
Maintain a clean store and safe work space
Support inventory management, ordering, and stock accuracy
Use AGR to manage product levels and track items
Lead receiving, stock checks, and backroom organization
Support merchandising, promotions, and seasonal resets
Provide direct product guidance and pet care support to customers
Handle cash, balance shifts, and maintain accurate financial records
Train staff, assign tasks, and support employee performance
Resolve customer issues with clear communication
Lift 50 pounds safely
Requirements
Previous experience at a pet store is required
Experience at Bosley’s or Tisol is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of pet products and pet care
Knowledge of AGR inventory management
Basic accounting knowledge
QuickBooks knowledge is an asset
Strong computer skills including MS Office and retail systems
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a quick retail environment
Must live in or near North Vancouver
Weekends required
