Responsibilities
Assist skilled tradespeople with manual labor tasks on construction sites
Set up and maintain traffic control measures as a Flag Person to ensure safety
Direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones
Load and unload construction materials and equipment
Keep the construction site clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor promptly
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions
Good communication skills to effectively direct traffic and work with the team
Basic understanding of construction site safety and traffic control procedures
Physical fitness and strength to handle manual labor tasks
Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and adapt to different job site requirements
Valid driver’s license and flag person certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
Willingness to travel for extended periods of time
