Responsibilities

At Zumiez we believe in giving you the tools and training to continue a career with us, this position would be the first gateway to that path! That being said here are a few of the responsibilities that are integrated into this role.
Maximizes personal & store sales results through selling, maintaining & covering zones.
Trains the management team to maximize sales results through merchandising & operations. Works With the management team to create development plans to level up the sales team. This is a career role with a explicit pathway to the store manager level.

SALES: Maintain personal results while training & developing the team to provide excellent customer service.

MERCHANDISING: Execute product direction & make store specific product decisions to drive sales results.

OPERATIONS: Opening & Closing the store (Including but not limited to reconciling the register, markdowns, transfers, promotion set up, inventory audits and store execution audits).Objective: Selling and Managing/Teaching to Sell and Manage through F8 Presence

Qualifications
Proven experience in retail and customer service
Open availability
Strong knowledge of merchandising, operations and sales
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
Some experience with supervising teams and supervising sales staff would be an asset
Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Some experience in recruiting and hiring
Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
