Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.

Duties
Perform routine cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks
Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management
Operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary to move furniture or supplies safely
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any concerns

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or commercial cleaning preferred




Familiarity with facilities maintenance and basic repair tools
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks within designated timeframes
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas

We require a criminal record check. Must have a drivers licence or transportation. Must be able to work morning, afternoon, evening and weekends.
