Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Cycle Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle and must have hands-on experience with QuickBooks and prior Canadian accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting cycle including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger
Maintain accurate financial records and post journal entries in QuickBooks
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare and file Canadian sales tax returns (HST/GST/PST) and payroll remittances
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Assist with external audits and provide audit documentation
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency




Handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
Mandatory experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
Canadian accounting experience is required
Solid knowledge of Canadian GAAP/IFRS and Canadian tax regulations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working toward or completion of CPA designation is an asset
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
