Position: Full time Early Childhood Educator Location: Nelson, British Columbia Start Date: June 2026 Wage: $25.00 - $33.00 About Us Nelson Community Preschool is a warm, inclusive, play-based early learning program dedicated to supporting the growth and development of children ages 35.

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programming for children ages 35 Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and values-centered classroom environment Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, families, and community partners Maintain clear,



qualified communication with families and team members Integrate Christian values into daily routines and learning experiences in an age-appropriate and respectful manner Adhere to all provincial licensing regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification in British Columbia Current First Aid & CPR Certification Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Strong communication and organizational skills Positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude Comfort with and alignment to working within a Christian-based environment

Assets (Not Required)Experience in a preschool or licensed group care setting
