Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Help to train apprentices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician
Knowledge of electrical systems
Experience in reading blueprints and schematics.
Experience with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Robust commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
