Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and effective Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a quick-paced environment. This role offers an chance to develop skills in food service, cash handling, and customer engagement, ensuring a welcoming experience for all patrons. Previous barista experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality




Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently and accurately
Good time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
