About the Role: As a senior preparedness specialist, you will lead public and partner engagement, public education, and outreach initiatives that strengthen emergency preparedness and disaster resilience across Alberta.
You''ll build strategic partnerships, deliver impactful learning programs, and serve as a trusted advocate for preparedness.
You will be responsible for: Acting as AEMA''s lead spokesperson and subject matter expert on emergency preparedness and disaster resilience.
Identify and champion partnership prospects that expand organizational reach, strengthen public and partner relationships, and maximize impact.
Developing and delivering training, presentations, workshops,
and public awareness initiatives.
Leading public and partner engagement strategies that build partnerships and expand program reach.
Creating educational resources, e-learning products, and outreach materials for diverse audiences.
Identifying and advancing creative public education and community engagement opportunities.
Conducting research, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to programs and engagement approaches.
Leading projects, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring quality program delivery.
Representing AEMA at conferences, community events, and stakeholder forums across Alberta.
