Schedules resources and automotive equipment relating to daily operations in support of a funeral home and/or care center. Ensures that adequate coverage is available and scheduled to provide a superior service to client family, while maximizing the full potential use of company human and physical resources in accordance with established budgetary standards.
An prospect exists for a part-time dispatcher at the Vancouver personal care center.
We are the largest hub in the Greater Vancouver area with 10+ funeral homes.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Initiative in the ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to make sound and concise decisions
Must be task oriented with the ability to work alone
Ability to work well in a quick-paced high-pressure environment
Full commitment to company objectives and policies
Computer skills are a necessity with the ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
This position has permanent part-time hours and the days will be Saturday, Sunday and Mondays with the requirement to fill-in for vacation and sick time for the other two permanent employees.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset
High level of compassion and integrity
Valuable communication skills
Pay
The pay rate is $25.91 per hour with increases at 6 months and 1 year.
