Role Description Avvio Fine Homes is seeking a full-time Estimator, Procurement & Project Coordinator to estimate custom home projects while researching vendors, purchasing, coordinating projects and improving related systems and processes. Task details include: Prepare and manage requests for quotation, review and compare quotations, perform material take-offs Prepare contracts and purchase orders,



manage documentation of trades Coordination of trades and suppliers Assist with improving the use of technology such as creating and improving processes, templates and documents Product research and new vendor research and pre-qualification Experience and Skills Minimum of 5 years estimating and 2 years of procuring and coordinating low-rise residential home construction (experience in custom home building is an asset). Construction Management Software, Takeoff Software, Microsoft Excel Advanced knowledge of the building systems, techniques, finishes and pre-construction and construction sequences and material lead times of a custom home project Advanced ability to read drawings and specifications Advanced use of construction management and takeoff software. Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of risk with ability to analyze and compare quotations and value engineer plans Proficient in math and has strong attention to detail with big picture perspective Able to identify issues and knows when escalation is required. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects, tasks and responsibilities effectively. Flexible and versatile with task and task levels Understands the importance of systems and can execute and improve them Comfortable with processes,
