This high‑impact role sits at the heart of the company’s business model, directly influencing profitability, customer conversion, and operational efficiency.Operating in a data‑rich environment—spanning 10,000+ new offers each week and a weekly‑refreshed database of 250,000+ customer valuations—you will leverage deep analytics to design pricing frameworks, reporting structures, and vehicle disposition strategies that enhance competitiveness and drive growth.Role ResponsibilitiesPrice Optimization Strategy – Devise and refine pricing algorithms and offer‑optimization tactics to maximize conversion rates across high‑volume acquisition and retail channels.Build & Lead Pricing Team – Hire, mentor,
and manage a cross‑functional team of pricing analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of rigor, experimentation, and innovation.Acquisition & Retail Pricing Matrix – Design and maintain a matrix that incorporates forecasted spreads, expected days to sell, reconditioning costs, and predicted margins to maximize profitability.Executive Reporting – Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance dashboards and insights to executive leadership.Inventory Mix & Capital Exposure – Recommend optimal inventory composition and capital allocation strategies to balance risk, liquidity, and sales velocity.Vehicle Disposition Strategy – Create and oversee frameworks for wholesale, retail, and export channels to ensure each vehicle is routed to its most profitable outcome.Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have solid technical expertise combined with commercial acumen, experience in quantitative, high‑volume, and market‑driven environments. Specific qualifications include:5+ years in quantitative trading, market‑making, or algorithmic research (hedge fund or trading desk experience ideal).Demonstrated expertise in forecasting, margin modeling, and pricing‑elasticity analysis.Proven success building and leading high‑caliber analytical teams.Strong command of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.G., Looker, Tableau).Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive‑level stakeholders.Please note that legal eligibility to work in Canada is a prerequisite for this role.CompensationToronto, Ontario, Canada – CA$180,000.00‑CA$200,000.00 (4 weeks ago)#J-18808-Ljbffr
