Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Food Services or Designate, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St.

Boniface Hospital, the COORDINATOR - FOOD PRODUCTION is responsible for ensuring a high quality of service and accuracy through productive operation and planning of work; supervision of Patient Food Services employees and area; procurement of specific patient and office related products; participation in hiring, training and conducting of contribution assessment reviews; scheduling and payroll functions; participation in quality management programs and performing other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience Two (2) years experience within the last four (4) years working directly in Food Services is an asset.

Experience with CBORD Diet Office Management software system is an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.





Successful completion of an approved Food Services Supervisors course or equivalent.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Valid Food Handler Training Certificate required.

Membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management is preferred.

Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in the use of common software application, preferably the Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to supervise and direct in a team setting.

Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Proven organizational skills.

Mature, skilled manner.
