Description: Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment Perform field diagnosis and field running repairs Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required Qualifications: Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a solid knowledge on Caterpillar mining equipment in the field setting Valid drivers license with a successful recent drivers abstract Mining equipment repair experience considered an asset especially 797 B & F Trucks, D11, 24 motor graders and 740 ADT Key Details: This position is located at the Albian site shop on a 14x14 continuous shift rotation days/nights Camp and flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary Must be comfortable working in an austere mining workplace, often working alone with no supervision A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable Union Membership:
